The Waterford at Round Rock worked with resident Becky’s daughter to give her the surprise of a lifetime by restoring their family car, a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Filled with memories of family vacations and drives with her late husband, Becky’s eyes filled with tears. The moment she saw the fully restored Mustang, she was overcome with emotion and gratitude. What a beautiful gift and a reminder of cherished memories!
The surprise was made even more special as fellow residents and team members gathered to witness the heartwarming moment. Laughter, hugs, and even a few happy tears filled the air as Becky shared stories behind the car and its significance to her family. The event reminded everyone of the power of love, legacy, and community coming together to make something truly unforgettable.

Colorful Cause
The Magnolia Trails team at The Ashton at Anderson hosted a tie-dye event. Residents and team members took advantage of the beautiful weather to create vibrant masterpieces. These colorful creations will be worn proudly on The Longest Day to honor and raise awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s. The event united everyone, inspiring creativity and community while supporting a meaningful cause.
Laughter and bright splashes of color filled the air as participants rolled up their sleeves and let their imaginations run free. From swirling purples to bold blues, each design was as unique as the person who made it. The experience offered not just a chance for self-expression, but also meaningful connection and reflection on the impact of Alzheimer’s. It was a joyful and uplifting way to support a serious cause close to many hearts.

Hero Breakfast
The Lodge at White Bear hosted a breakfast to show appreciation for the incredible dedication of local first responders and the vital role they play in keeping everyone safe. To thank them, the team served pancakes, breakfast meats, and fresh coffee. Residents savored the meal, exchanged stories, and took the opportunity to thank the honored guests through warm, heartfelt conversations.
The morning was filled with smiles and meaningful connections as first responders and residents shared experiences and built new bonds. Many residents expressed how much it meant to personally thank those who serve and protect their community every day. The event not only honored the bravery and commitment of these everyday heroes but also created a deeper sense of unity and gratitude throughout the entire residence.
