To kick off summer, residents and team members at The Waterford at Mansfield got creative with a Tie-Dye for a Cause event. The patio turned into a colorful art space as residents designed custom shirts, all while raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care.
Shortly after, the community hosted a Local Heroes Breakfast, inviting Mansfield’s first responders for a morning of connection, gratitude, and pancakes. Residents and staff served breakfast, shared stories, and thanked their guests for their service.

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Summer fun at The Waterford at Fort Worth included a lively hot dog eating contest that had residents cheering, laughing, and enjoying the great outdoors. Participants competed for a custom trophy and serious bragging rights, while spectators enjoyed music, cold drinks, and themed decorations.
That same week, residents enjoyed a refreshing farm visit, where they interacted with animals, toured the grounds, and connected with nature, a great way to stimulate the senses and celebrate the season.

At The Waterford at Levis Commons, summer events blended celebration with community pride. A Father’s Day spotlight honored the oldest father in the building, with a backyard-style meal, special gifts, and time with family. Residents shared memories and enjoyed a few dad jokes under the sun.
In addition, the community hosted a visit from Miss Ohio pageant participants, creating a vibrant, intergenerational afternoon. Residents were thrilled to meet the young women, take photos, and share stories of their own.
