Max Levy, Chief Investment Officer
Max Levy is the chief investment officer at Sonida Senior Living Inc. In this role, he is responsible for leading and overseeing the Company’s multifaceted sourcing strategy and rigorous investment and capital allocation process.
Prior to joining Sonida in 2024, Max spent four years as a principal at Conversant Capital, a flexible capital solutions provider to real estate and real estate-related platforms and companies. He led major investments across several sectors, including health care real state, in both public and private markets. During his time at Conversant, he served on Sonida’s board of directors.
Max previously served as an analyst at The Baupost Group, where he focused on real estate investments in North America and Europe. He began his career as an investment banking analyst for Hentschel & Co., a boutique real estate advisory firm, where he assisted public REITs and private real estate companies on mergers, acquisitions and raising capital.
Max earned his bachelor’s degree in intellectual history from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
