From management, to reception, to nurses and support staff—all have proven to be friendly, compassionate and competent. Making the decision to place my father in a memory care community was one of the most difficult choices I've ever had to make. My father is 89 years old and living with late-stage Alzheimer's disease. I cared for him at home for the last 10 years, and when I realized I could no longer provide the level of care he needed, I was heartbroken.
The Addison of Gwinnett Park was recommended to me by a member of his hospice team, and I am incredibly grateful for that recommendation. Since moving there, my father has truly thrived. Before, he was mostly limited to moving from his chair to his bed. Now, he is walking around, socializing with others, and receiving the around-the-clock care and support he needs.
The staff and management have been exceptional. They have treated both my father and me like family, showing genuine compassion, patience, and dedication every step of the way. Their teamwork, communication, and commitment to residents are remarkable.
I cannot say enough positive things about The Addison of Gwinnett Park. Knowing that my father is safe, cared for, and enjoying a better quality of life has brought me tremendous peace of mind. Yesterday I stopped in at the Addison to inquire about prices and take a tour. I was greeted by the front desk staff who were very friendly and courteous. I was swiftly met by miss Kelly Duncan, the sales director. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable.  She showed me the entire facility highlighting all aspects of life at the Addison.  Any questions I had where explained in Detail to me. I was able to see in person the studio and one bedroom apartments.  Back at her office I was introduced to all the key players at the Addison from executive director to the maintenance director and everyone in between.  Each person was friendly and pleasant to talk to.  The activities director is super energetic. She could get the grumpiest person to do an activity and they would enjoy it IMO.  The prices were thoroughly explained and no hidden costs. Everything you could need during your journey at the Addison was explained and the associated cost listed. As far as if the cost was high or low I could not speak on as this is my first place and have nothing to compare to. I am sure there are cheaper places but would not want my mother there.  This doesn’t have the assisted living feel but more of a senior community feel, which is awesome. It’s like being on vacation at a resort but forever. I met with a few residents and they loved living there when I talked to them. Came back a few hours later and Kelly took the time to show me around again but this time with my mom.  My mom enjoyed the tour and the facility. Just waiting for her to realize this is better living than her by herself in her house without social engagement. I want her to want to move here. Not force her. I am 54 but this is where I want to live when I am older! I highly recommend the Addison. At least take the tour. See for yourself

My experience with The Addison of Gwinnett Park has been nothing short of excellent. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this is a place that truly prioritizes comfort, dignity, and quality care. The community is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming—not institutional.

The staff is one of the biggest highlights. Everyone I interacted with was professional, patient, and genuinely kind, and it’s clear they care about the residents as people, not just as “patients.” They took time to answer questions, explain services thoroughly, and make sure we felt confident and supported throughout the process.

The facility itself is impressive—great layout, inviting common areas, and a peaceful environment that feels like home. You can tell they put thought into the details, from safety to comfort to the overall resident experience.

I’ve left 3-4 reviews for any business ever. The Addison has made such an impression on me, I can’t speak about them highly enough. Choosing a retirement community for your loved ones is a big decision - this group has gone above and beyond to make it as great of an experience for not only my grandparents, but myself, my parents, and our entire extended family. My grandparents are thriving as the staff is wonderful, their events bring them so much joy, and the building is beautifully maintained.

What can I say???
The staff (Kelly. Candice and Nicholas) were impeccable with their care and concern for my Dad from the contract signing to my Dads passing.  If I could give them 10 stars I would. If you can afford the private pay please invest in your loved one and place them there.
