The campus sits just off Lakewood Ranch Boulevard between University Parkway and Fruitville Road.

Eight Wooded Acres with Room to Step Outside

A courtyard fountain, gardens, walking paths, and a covered lanai give residents several ways to enjoy the Sarasota weather. Patio gardening adds a hands-on option for people who like to grow plants or work outdoors. Memory Care residents have access to a secured courtyard and dedicated walking paths.

The grounds are more than a view from the window. They create places to take a morning walk, sit outside after lunch, or spend time with visiting family members.

Dining Experience

Dining on the Resident's Schedule

Three chef-prepared meals are served each day. All-day dining choices and snacks are also available, so residents do not have to plan every meal around one service time. Menu selections include fresh seasonal dishes, scratch-made signature items, and traditional homestyle favorites.

Restaurant-style and tableside service are available in the main dining room. Residents may also choose in-apartment dining. Magnolia Trails uses family-style dining to create a familiar shared mealtime for Memory Care residents. Meals can be adjusted for a variety of dietary needs.

Assisted Living

Assisted Living helps older adults maintain their routines while receiving assistance with specific daily tasks. Available services include help with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and medication management. Personal care, assessments, emergency response systems, and coordination with families and physicians are also part of the care approach.

Before move-in, caregivers complete a health assessment. They use the results to create an individual service plan that identifies the assistance needed, how often it should be provided, and who will provide it. A licensed nurse is available onsite seven days a week.

Memory Care

Magnolia Trails™ provides individualized Memory Care in a secure, calming setting. The program engages the five senses and cares for the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.

Caregivers spend time learning each resident’s preferences, needs, and current cognitive state. Those details guide daily timing, activities, dining, and the surrounding environment. Decor, sounds, smells, touch, and taste help create spaces that feel familiar while offering appropriate stimulation.

Short-Term Respite Care

Respite Care provides a temporary stay when a family caregiver needs time away, personal or travel obligations arise, or an older adult is recovering from an injury or illness. Guests may receive Assisted Living or Memory Care support in a furnished setting.

Short-term residents have access to all-day dining, fitness classes, transportation, wellness programs, activities, and community amenities. Stays may last a few weeks or longer. Availability and length-of-stay requirements should be confirmed before making plans.

Our Team Approach

Care starts with learning what each resident needs and prefers. In Assisted Living, the pre-move-in health assessment becomes the basis for an individual service plan. This gives caregivers clear direction about daily assistance while preserving the routines a resident can continue independently.

Magnolia Trails staff complete memory care training and must pass a dementia care exam before working with residents. Their approach considers the resident’s preferences and cognitive changes instead of relying on one fixed daily schedule.

Family members remain part of the process. Magnolia Trails™ provides dementia care guides and tool kits, encourages ongoing collaboration, and shares updates with families. The team may also work with residents’ health care professionals when coordinating Memory Care.

Apartment Floor Plans

Assisted Living floor plans range from a 355-square-foot studio to a 600-square-foot two-bedroom apartment. Alcove and one-bedroom options provide additional choices. Magnolia Trails includes a 250-square-foot Memory Care studio.
