I will always be grateful for the compassionate care my mom received at The Addison of Sandy Springs. From the moment she moved in the staff treated her with kindness, dignity and respect. As her health declined, the compassion and support shown to both my mom and to me was invaluable. Thank you to all the nurses, med techs, office staff and concierge for the love and support I personally felt each day I walked in to visit my mom. I recommend this community for your loved ones. My parents lived in Assisted Living at the Addison for almost 5 years, and I just moved them to Memory Care. Our experience has been phenomenal, and the care and love we have felt as we made this transition to Memory Care has been incredible. During such a challenging and emotional time, the entire team went out of their way to support us, guide us, and make everything as seamless and easy as possible. My mother spent the last 3 years of her life in Magnolia Trails memory care. I was so pleased with the building, beautiful murals on the walls, friendly staff and the compassionate care my mother received. This was the best place I could have found for her. They even allowed her to bring her cat when she first moved in. Their holiday parties were top notch. I'm an Aging Life Care Manager and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've had both family members and clients reside at The Addison, formerly known as The Mansions. From their caring staff to the delicious food (which I've tried myself on several occasions) to the welcoming environment, this place takes the cake when it comes to care facilities! There are plenty of assisted living facilities, nearly one on every corner, but not one that has the feeling of home like The Addison or where the Executive Director (Marty's) door is literally open to everyone all the time. I also really love that I see familiar faces every time I'm there, which tells me they have low staff turnover, which is uncommon in this industry- they really take pride in hiring quality staff and doing what is necessary to show they value them. I am so grateful for the exceptional care and warm environment at this facility. I have several seniors there at the Addison. I’ve been so pleased with the care that each of them has received.  Anytime I have Something that I feel needs to be addressed, the executive director is always willing to listen and to help fix any issues. He’s such a nice guy and is so good to all the folks that live there.  I can’t say enough about the caregivers there as well. I Can see the caring and the compassion in their eyes and when they are working with the residents.  I will continue to refer people to this assisted living/memory care home. I am a RN Geriatric Care Manager and this community does an excellent job with the oversight and care of the residents.  The residents are happy and well cared for. The staff is friendly and really show compassion for the seniors they serve.
