Our studio and shared memory care apartments are designed for comfort and safety. Each apartment includes spacious layouts, large bathrooms with walk-in showers, and built-in safety features. All apartments include emergency call systems, sprinkler systems, smoke alarms, and are fully wheelchair accessible.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My mother has been at The Waterford at Decatur for a little over 2 weeks now. We are happy with the care she has received and the personal attention given to her and our family by Evelyn Watkins and her team. Evelyn has gone above and beyond to help us in getting mom moved in and settled. She has coordinated with hospice to have prescription meds and supplies sent to The Waterford. She even made a trip to pick up oxygen equipment that my dad wasn't sure he could get moved himself.
Evelyn is indeed an asset to this company and she truly cares for the patients and their families.

One man name John did become aggressive with her, but she handled it with professionalism and patience.  She is an asset to your organization.  The facility was nice and clean.

They did a great job providing 3 initial facilities to start with...
I chose Waterford at Decatur, as they were the only provider that was ONLY for memory care patients...
I didn't want staffs that were also providing Independent, Senior, or Assisted living care...I wanted only a MEMORY Care facility...
I contacted Waterford and scheduled to take the tour...
All that was presented on the tour, after having my wife there for the past 6 weeks, has been found to be as presented on that tour...
Facility is all one level with 4 'communities' providing the same care in each one of them...rooms, leisure area, dining, and kitchen facilities...
They provide 'activity' sessions 10:00AM-12:00PM and 2:00PM-4:00PM to encourage residents to be 'active' both mentally and physically...
I personally visit my wife daily from 3:00PM to 7:00PM and am there during the evening meal...therefore, I can judge the food...
The daily menus vary and are actually pretty good...Soup is always GREAT!...
Personnel are friendly and accommodable to mine and my wife's needs...
I am very thankful to have found Waterford at Decatur for my wife in this season of her life...
