After finding out I had to relocate my mother from her current facility because of a closing INDIA contacted me from The Wellington at Southport.  She was extremely kind, compassionate and attentive to my situation.  She was an extremely pleasant person to speak with give me a virtual tour of the community as well as providing me all the information I needed. My aunt has lived here for a few years now. She’s lived in the open side and moved back to the Alzheimer’s unit. Unfortunately, she is not able to return but we are forever grateful for the care and love that she got while she was here. Just took a tour. Everyone was nice. The Tennants were happy. Met the memory care director. She was nice. I have many tours scheduled the next few days. I will compare them and let my mom decide where to put dad. The WOS will be in consideration.

The Wellington is a quaint, clean assisted living facility on the Southside. India, the Admissions Department, is great and easy to work with. I’ve met the Director of Nursing, Sabrina, too, and she has a great for seniors. Definitely recommend, especially for those with dementia.

I was impressed with The Wellington at Southport after speaking with my brother. The staff took the time to answer all of the questions our family had about assisted living and memory care, unlike other community visits that felt rushed. Thank you for being a community resource!
