We haven’t even brought our loved one yet and the amount of peace we have is unreal. I have popped in several times unannounced at various times of the day. Residents are HAPPY, CLEAN, hair and makeup done, and no urine smell as we often see in similar type facilities. The staff truly cares for its residents and that has been evident thru the whole process. We are feeling so blessed today to bring our loved one here that I couldn’t even wait to leave this review. Just LOOK what she is coming home to! We feel so blessed there was an opening for her! Thank you, Stephen, Terri, and Tony for a smooth entry during the hardest seasons in life. We moved my mother-in-law into the memory care facility at Whitley Place in early March, and we have been thrilled with the care she has received. The caregivers there are the best! They are so patient, sweet, and loving with every single resident. They really care about each person and show each one dignity and respect. And the caregiver turnover rate is very low, which not only indicates a positive work environment for the caregivers but also gives the residents the consistency in care that’s so important. We also love Samantha, the memory care director, who puts a lot of time and effort into providing and leading fun and engaging activities for the residents. She’s always so happy, friendly, and loving with them. It truly is a warm, caring environment overall that feels like you’re with family. And I feel like that atmosphere has been intentionally created by Terrie Lynn, the executive director of Whitley Place. She has a heart for the residents and their families, as does everyone who we’ve met and worked with, from Stephen the Wellness Director, to Toni at the front office, to even Michelle in housekeeping. My mom lived in their memory care for over 3 years.  All of the staff was so sweet and attentive.  They would share photos with us regularly of events that my mom took place in. I've been to this place several times as my Aunt is there... everyone seems really nice and caring but I have to say that one nurse totally stands out as going above and beyond with her caring...Lola is her name and she is AMAZING! Very nice. It's been years since I visited someone at Whitley Place. Everyone was friendly.  Facility smelled good. It was a pleasant visit. I will be visiting my dear friend often.
