The Addison of Narcoossee held a carnation and candlelight dinner for its residents this week with a menu of steak, scallops, rice pilaf, bacon-wrapped asparagus and tiramisu for dessert. A live jazz band played as the team hosted the event in their best purple ensembles, all looking stylish and coordinated in various shades of purple. The team’s outfits ranged from elegant dresses to sharp shirts, adding sophistication to the evening. The thoughtful choice of color not only made the event festive but also demonstrated the team’s dedication to creating a memorable atmosphere for the residents.
The ambiance was elegant, with the candles creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, while the music set the perfect mood for the evening. Residents and their families had a wonderful time, enjoying the delicious food, great conversation, and the chance to celebrate together. The event was filled with laughter and joyful moments as people shared stories and made new memories. They appreciated all the hard work the team put into making the evening special, and many shared heartfelt thanks for such a memorable experience.

Joyful gathering
The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids hosted a baby shower for one of their beloved dining team members, Hannah! Residents watched as she opened gifts to welcome her baby boy, including a diaper tower and a handmade blanket. One resident even won a fun prize after correctly guessing the number of animal crackers in a bottle, adding an extra touch of excitement to the event.
The event was filled with laughter and smiles as everyone enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Residents and team members mingled, sharing their own parenting tips and experiences, creating a warm sense of community. Everyone enjoyed the celebration, which featured games, delicious food and, of course, cake. It was a wonderful celebration of a cherished team member. Congratulations, Hannah!

Cottonwood Village honored one of its resident’s amazing achievements this week celebrating Mia Fliers, a published author! With two action novels under her belt, Mia read excerpts from her books and hosted a lively discussion about her writing process, inspirations and journey as an author. Residents engaged in a thoughtful conversation asking questions and sharing their thoughts on her stories.
Mia also shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her creative process, revealing how she develops characters and weaves complex plots. Her passion for writing was evident, and residents were inspired by her dedication and perseverance. It was a special opportunity for everyone to connect with Mia’s journey and celebrate her success as a published author. Congratulations on your achievement, Mia!
