The Waterford on Highland Colony celebrated Mardi Gras in style, creating an atmosphere full of joy and excitement. Residents and team members embraced the festive spirit, dressing up in colorful costumes and vibrant masks as live music filled the air, bringing a taste of New Orleans to the event. The celebration featured an array of delicious Creole dishes, with New Orleans favorites like rich Creole gumbo, flavorful crawfish étouffée, mouthwatering shrimp po’boys, and of course, the iconic king cake, which added an authentic touch to the festivities.
The highlight of the day, as noted by Ashley, the Sales Director, was the spectacular parade. The residents and team members showcased their creativity with beautifully decorated floats and stunning costumes, filling the event with energy and excitement. The parade’s fun and lively atmosphere was contagious, bringing everyone together to celebrate in true Mardi Gras fashion.
“The energy was contagious, and everyone had a blast!” said Ashley, reflecting on the unforgettable day of fun and celebration.


Musical moments
Rose Arbor had an exciting day at the theater seeing the musical Anastasia! The group was captivated by the stunning performance, with beautiful music, dazzling costumes, and an unforgettable storyline that left everyone talking. They enjoyed the show so much that they couldn’t resist capturing the moment with a group photo alongside Anastasia herself, a memory they would cherish for years to come.
After the performance, they kept the theme going with a delicious dinner at Broadway Pizza, where the ambiance and food made it feel just like they were dining in the heart of New York City! The laughter and conversation continued as they shared their favorite moments from the show. JoDell, the Magnolia Trails Director, said, “A wonderful time was had by all. We can’t wait for our next outing.” What a memorable day filled with fun, friendship, and excitement!



Go Texan day
The Wellington at Conroe celebrated a beloved Houston tradition, Go Texan Day, in full Texas style! Residents and team members went all out, donning their best cowboy hats, boots, and vibrant Texas-themed attire, creating a true Texas-sized celebration. The day was filled with fun and laughter as everyone shared stories of ranch life, cattle branding, and roping, reminiscing about their own experiences or learning about the traditions that make Texas so unique.
The spirit of Texas pride was evident in every corner of the room, from the lively conversations to the hearty laughter that filled the air. Tiffani, the Sales Director, remarked, “We had a fantastic time celebrating Go Texan Day with learning, laughter, and a whole lot of Lone Star pride!” The event was a perfect blend of fun and education, bringing everyone closer together to celebrate the rich heritage of the Lone Star State. What a fun and memorable way to show their Texan pride!
