Kevin Detz

Kevin Detz is the chief financial officer at Sonida Senior Living Inc. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company’s overall financial management and helping drive corporate strategy.

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience instilling financial accountability, scalability and labor efficiencies for global operation companies and financial services organizations. He has a proven track record of developing cross-functional teams that drive growth and fiscal success.

Prior to joining Sonida in 2022, Kevin spent eight years at Aimbridge Hospitality, the leading third-party global hotel management company. He held a variety of leadership roles there, most recently serving as executive vice president and operational chief financial officer. He transformed the company’s back-office services into a profitable professional services platform and reorganized the corporate treasury and finance functions to create enhanced visibility into the company’s forecasting and liquidity.

Before that, Kevin was a vice president and controller for Goldman Sachs & Co., responsible for the accounting oversight of the Goldman Sachs Real Estate Management Division, a multibillion business with 270 hotels. He also previously spent several years as an audit manager for Ernst & Young, performing audits for publicly traded companies and preparing and reviewing financial statements and related disclosures.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is a certified public accountant.
