Tim Cober

Tim Cober is the chief accounting officer at Sonida Senior Living Inc. In this role, he is responsible for all accounting functions and plays a key role in the company’s long-range strategic planning.

Tim is a seasoned accounting and finance executive with extensive experience leading large teams through organizational change to improve internal processes and systems. He has proven business acumen in mergers, acquisitions and portfolio optimization.

Prior to joining Sonida in 2022, Tim was vice president of accounting for Spire Hospitality, a national third-party hospitality management company. In his time there, he was involved in multiple strategic initiatives, including the accounting oversight of complex hotel joint venture structures and corporate accounting. He was responsible for cash management, forecasting and reporting for all Spire Hospitality entities.

Tim also previously served as vice president of accounting operations for Aimbridge Hospitality. Notably, he transformed the accounting department to reduce contract labor, streamline processes and support organizational growth and efficiency.

Tim has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas, Arlington. He is a certified public accountant.
